Four organisations, one root system. The Americas Tree is how the group describes the relationship between the ventures that work across the Western Hemisphere, each with its own purpose and each drawing on the same ground.
Each organisation below does something the others do not. A newsroom is not a chamber of commerce, and neither is a trading platform. What they hold in common is the region they serve and the belief that it is better covered, better connected, and better represented when the work is done together.
ATH35 is the commercial side of the group. It exists to shorten the distance between businesses that want to trade across the hemisphere and the people they need to reach, treating a market of many nations as somewhere worth navigating rather than somewhere too complicated to enter.
The Americas Press is the newsroom. It was founded on the belief that people deserve coverage that is accurate, fair, and clearly written. It reports across politics, business, world affairs, and technology, and it answers to its readers rather than to advertisers, political parties, or outside investors.
The Chamber is the membership body. Its work is the ordinary and necessary business of a chamber: introducing members to one another, giving smaller organisations a way to be heard alongside larger ones, and holding open the channels through which commercial relationships across the region are actually formed.
EHOTA sits at the base of the tree. It is the parent that holds the other ventures together, keeping a single direction across businesses that operate in different fields, and carrying the long view that none of the individual branches would be able to hold on its own.
A tree is a useful way to describe this. The branches grow in different directions and are judged on their own merits, but they are fed by the same roots.
